Who am I?
I am Russ
Doucet, BSc in Computer Science, UWO 1995.
I am senior engineer at INSA, a boutique technical firm in Ottawa, where I use my
elite skills with the Fortigate
product and other security devices to help government and business clients
improve their security posture.
I
participated in the inaugural Canadian Fortinet Xtreme Team in Montreal 2011 where I was named MVP of this
event. Besides consulting, I also
instruct senior IT staff including professionals from billion dollar
corporations and federal government, in formal and informal classroom settings. I recently spoke at the Atlantic Security Conference in Halifax in
2012 about Network Forensics.

I am
President
Forensics at Data
Lucidity Inc. I have testified as a
court recognized computer expert on 8 occasions and advised lawyers on over a
hundred cases since 2003. I also do
private forensic work, using forensic tools and skills to investigate computers
while bringing a broader understanding of the big picture and superior
communication skills to make the results understandable and relevant. I do enterprise consulting work, enabling
enterprises to fully utilize their existing partners while leveraging new and
existing technologies to maximum positive effect.
I am the Simcoe
Gentlemen of Harmony’s 2010 Barbershopper of the
year. The GOH are the 2011 Ontario
District Chorus Champions. My quartet
placed second in the Peninsula Division novice tournament and I participated in
the first place Very Large Quartet and the first place Mini-Chorus at the same
contest. Check out the hardware…
I am also a
member of Ottawa’s Capital City Chorus
and a webmaster on the Ontario
District website.
But most
importantly – proud father of a talented daughter and husband to a wonderful
wife.
So that’s
me!
